Community Consultation for Gold Coast Health's Strategic Plan 2020-2024

Closes 14 Nov 2019

Opened 24 Sep 2019

Overview

Gold Coast Health wants to hear from patients and their families, staff and the community to help develop the Strategic Plan that will guide the future of our health service to 2024, with a longer-term outlook to 2032.

The Gold Coast population is growing by 2.2 per-cent every year, much faster than the Queensland average of 1.68 per cent; so it's vital to plan now for the future. Children and older people make up a large proportion of this population growth and are generally the people who use health care services the most.

Why We Are Consulting

Between now and December 2019, there will be a range of opportunities for patients and their families, staff and the community to share views and ideas about Gold Coast Health's vision, purpose and strategic direction. This anonymous survey is the first stage of consultation, in our effort to include as many voices as possible from our diverse community.
