Gold Coast Health is in the early planning stages for a potential new hospital and health precinct at Coomera to provide public healthcare in the northern Gold Coast. Funding for a new hospital is not yet confirmed.
A new hospital and health precinct at Coomera would offer easier access to health services for communities in the northern Gold Coast including Coomera, Pimpama, Ormeau, Jacob’s Well, Hope Island and Helensvale. It would also reduce the increasing pressure on beds and services at Gold Coast University Hospital in Southport and Robina Hospital.
In this important early stage, we are listening to Gold Coaster’s views and ideas about how future healthcare needs could be met and delivered closer to home for those who live in the northern Gold Coast.
