2022 Local Area Needs Assessment

Overview

Gold Coast Health is currently assessing the healthcare needs of the Gold Coast population to help plan and prioritise future public healthcare services.

The Local Area Needs Assessment (LANA) will assist Gold Coast Health to identify opportunities to continue improving the community’s access to public healthcare. Gold Coast Health wants to hear from the community while we undertake this important assessment of healthcare needs through this survey.

The survey is broad ranging, and is seeking to understand the health needs of our region. Please answer as many questions as possible to the best of your ability.

Your personal information will not be shared. However your results will be aggregated to inform the LANA and may be shared as part of this assessment with our partners for the LANA, Gold Coast Primary Health Network and Kalwun Development Corporation.

At the end of the survey you will be given the option to provide your email address to receive a PDF copy of your response and go into a draw to win one of five $100 gift vouchers. The winners will be notified by 31 August 2022.

What happens next

The final LANA will be published by 31 December 2022.
